Ichigo asks Isshin Kurosaki what he meant by being able to teach him the Final Getsuga Tenshō here and Isshin explains about how the Dangai is an isolated space which is surrounded by numerous stacked-up layers of time's current, resulting in it being a place where the density of time within it is extremely high when compared to other exterior dimensions. Isshin tells a confused Ichigo that when 1 year passes outside the Dangai, 2,000 years will have passed in the Dangai. Isshin continues his explanation, stating that if one is caught by the Kōryū, they will become stuck and die, while if one is chased by the Kōtotsu, they will be flung into a time far removed from when they entered the Dangai. Isshin notes that thanks to Kisuke Urahara's technological prowess, Ichigo and the other Ryoka were only affected by a few days when they originally entered Soul Society. With the Kōtotsu gone, Isshin identifies it as a chance to buy some time. Stating that Soul Society cannot suppress the Kōtotsu, he reveals that there is a way to stop the Kōryū, called Kaikyō Kotei. Isshin removes four small forked blades from his uniform and ties them to himself before inserting them into the Dangai's walls. Isshin states that he will hold back the Kōryū for as long as he can, estimating that it will be about 2,000 hours. He urges Ichigo to use that time to get information from his Zanpakutō about the true nature of the Final Getsuga Tenshō.
When circumstances deem it necessary, the Kōryū can be stopped using a method referred to as Kaikyō Kotei (界境固定, Realm Boundary Fixation; Viz "Boundary Fixation"). Normally, lower-echelon Shinigami enter the dimension in great numbers and using a special method, pour in their Reiatsu to fixate the current. However, individuals in possession of significant quantities of Reiatsu can single-handedly suppress the current for extended periods of time, but only after the insertion of four small forked blades into various locations along the Dangai's wall, and as long as the user remains connected to these items for the duration. Isshin Kurosaki states that someone with his level of Reiatsu can maintain this state for no longer than 2000 hours, according to the time frame within the confines of the Dangai.[4]
How Long Was Ichigo In The Dangai

Due to the density of time within the Dangai, Ichigo returned to the Human World only an hour after departing from the Soul Society. He appeared with longer hair, a slightly taller stature, and a seemingly stronger connection with his Bankai. Shortly after arriving, he was able to overpower Aizen immediately, carrying him over a considerable distance, stopping his Zanpakutō with his bare hands, and countering his Hado 90: Kurohitsugi, all while exerting little to no effort.
In this form, Ichigo's hair grows even longer and is dyed pitch black. He is surrounded by a black Reiatsu, and most parts of his body are covered in bandage-like attire from the waist up. This form allowed him to perform the all-powerful Mugetsu, an ability potent enough to paint the sky black and attack Aizen with tremendous force, weakening him enough so that Kisuke Urahara could finish the job.
Ichigo's completed Fullbring, which covers him in an armored bodysuit that increases his strength, speed, and durability. In this state, Ichigo can use Bringer Light, a Fullbringer technique that pulls on the soul of the ground to propel him across long distances, and a blade forms from his Shinigami badge to use as a weapon.
After getting his broken Zanpakuto reforged, Ichigo learned that his inner Hollow was actually the spirit of Zangetsu. By making peace with Zangetsu, Ichigo is no longer in danger of being possessed by him. However, Ichigo can still meld with his inner Hollow to transform into an extremely powerful form. Unlike his Vasto Lorde form, Ichigo's body only undergoes a partial transformation, and Ichigo still has full control over himself in this state.
when will people understand that transcendents are above all characters not transcendent or above is the same as DBZ character who has 10,000 PL vs 1,000 PL, unless hax are involved dangai ichigo slaughters with zero diff, he treated butterfly aizen another transcendent like fodder.
Updated on November 30th, 2022: Ichigo Kurosaki has finally returned to the television screen after a decade-long hiatus. The Bleach fandom has been eagerly awaiting the Thousand-Year Blood War's anime adaptation ever since the announcement in 2020. The first episode of the final arc was released on October 11th, 2022, and there's a grand total of 52 episodes to round out the story. Bleach is nothing without Ichigo Kurosaki, the young Shinigami who consistently demonstrates his devastating power throughout the series.
After three months of time-dilated Jinzen inside the Dangai dimension, Ichigo achieves a perfect union with Zangetsu, learning the only method that can utterly destroy a Hogyoku-empowered Aizen. His appearance changes very slightly when he emerges, sporting longer hair and a chain wrapped around his arm.
Nimaiya finishes forging his new Zanpakutos, leaving Ichigo holding two black Zangetsus. One of his swords is short and solid, whereas the other is relatively long and hollow. Ichigo can now access a variety of new techniques, including the devastating Getsuga Juujishou.
Ichigo's appearance also changes along with his Bankai. A horn juts out of his left temple, one of his eyes glows yellow, and two black stripes run down his face. This form mirrors that of the Tensa Zangetsu that Ichigo had earlier faced during Jinzen, an obvious foreshadowing of his true nature.
True enough, due to its length, it is extremely unwieldy and while historically there were some extremely long Japanese swords like this one, they were almost always used for ceremonial purposes, being simply too long to be of any real practical use.
Two things become immediately apparent. It is almost TWICE as long as a standard Katana, and has a considerably straighter blade than a standard Japanese sword, though still has some curvature as you can see below.
Overall, especially when you consider the price point and its purpose, there is nothing really 'wrong' with this replica so far. And for display or cosplay purposes, as long as it is handled carefully, it achieves it stated goal as an interesting, decorative piece..
Hollow ShikaiShikai: The Shikai form of Zangetsu resembles an oversized khyber knife. It has no tsuba and no proper hilt; what Zangetsu holds is the cloth-wrapped tang. The sword is as long as Zangetsu is tall (1.75 meters), and has a silver blade with a black edge. The cloth wrapping on the tang seems to react to Zangetsu's will, changing length at a thought or twining about the blade in an impromptu sheath. When in combat, the cloth falls away when necessary, shrinking back to a manageable size. The cloth can be used to swing the weapon like a flail and toss it at opponents for mid-range combat and can wrap up wounds. The wide blade can be used as a shield from incoming attacks. Unlike most Zanpakutō, which can be sealed into their original form, the blade is always in its Shikai form. Yoruichi Shihōin states this Zanpakutō is a full-time released form type because of Ichigo's vast but uncontrollable Reiryoku upon generation of it.Shikai Special Ability: While primarily used for melee combat, the blade possesses a special ability.
Hollow Form: When Zangetsu takes full possession of Ichigo's body, the body undergoes a full transformation into a Hollow creature. His mask resembles a Human skull, complete with a jaw joint and rounded forehead, and has dark red stripes on the left side. This full Hollow is a white humanoid lizard with three-toed feet and a tail, with black marks all over its noticeably more muscular body. It possesses long orange hair and reptilian eyes seen through the eyeholes on its full mask. Unlike normal Hollows, this form used an actual weapon, using Ichigo's Zanpakutō.
Weaknesses: Ichigo is brash and can rush into fights without thinking, and he can also be too merciful or have his powers limited by his lack of fighting spirit. He can only use his Hollow Mask for so long, originally for four to eleven seconds. Using Mugetsu will strip him of all his Shinigami powers and cause him to fall unconscious for a month
Bankai - Tensa Zangetsu: Activated by pointing his Zanpakutō outwards and allowing its cloth to wrap around his arm, Ichigo's Tensa Zangetsu is very out of the ordinary for a Bankai. It shrinks Ichigo's normally massive sword down to a daitō, a long sword, with a black blade, focusing and compressing all of its power for use in hyper-speed combat. The appearance of his Bankai shifts after his training in the Dangai, covering his right hand with a black glove and wrapping its chain all around his arm.
Full Hollow Form: When Zangetsu takes full possession of Ichigo's body, the body undergoes a full transformation into a Hollow creature. His mask resembles a Human skull, complete with a jaw joint and rounded forehead, and has dark red stripes on the left side. Unlike normal Hollows, this form used an actual weapon, using Ichigo's Zanpakutō. Ichigo later has his body taken over by Zangetsu once again. This time, the full transformation is very physically different in appearance and far more powerful than the previous one. In this form, Ichigo has long straight hair, reaching down to his waist, and a Hollow hole, smaller than his previous one, decorated with markings stretching from the hole across his chest and shoulders. In this new form, he has a different Hollow mask. It covers Ichigo's entire head, and its markings are different, for it has four spike-shaped marks, two of them stopping by the forehead and the other two stretching past the eyes and teeth, going past his chin and joining with the marks on his chest. The mask features two long forward-pointing horns, with black strips extending from their center towards the tips. 2ff7e9595c
